So I was in Vegas this weekend and one of the most popular songs for DJs was Blurred lines. I am so torn by this video! I like the sound and when I just heard it without paying attention to lyrics I was glad this kind of sound was on the radio. Then I saw the video with #THICKE all over it. Then, the lyric, “You wanna hug me, what rhymes with hug me?” SERIOUSLY!? Oh well, it’s bullshit, but the people love it. So take another listen.

Bikers can be scary, but there’s a difference between the tough guys and the assholes. Usually if you don’t have a crotch rocket, you may be tough. There is a certain level of respect with these guys though. If you are in the far left lane (mostly carpool in LA) and you see a bike coming on your right (as they should be) you should swing your car out over the line to your left and give them room to pass. You’re just giving them room to ride, basically sharing the road. What should happen next is you should get a low wave from the biker to show their gratitude. The reason this has to be on the left side is because of the way the bike is set up. the gas is on the right, so they can’t really take their hand off the handle.
